Portugal come from behind to beat Norway 2:1 and reach the Nations League quarter-finals first
Portugal beat Norway 2:1 at the Estádio do Dragão and became the first side to qualify for the 2026-27 Nations League quarter-finals. They did it without Cristiano Ronaldo and finished with ten men.
Kristoffer Ajer put Norway ahead after 36 minutes. João Cancelo equalised two minutes later, and Gonçalo Ramos scored the winner in the 79th minute.
Francisco Conceição was sent off in the 86th minute for a second yellow card, for time wasting. Portugal held on for their fourth win from four in the group.
A winning double, and a new question for the next round
Our double at 1.60 came in: Portugal won, and Ireland’s 1:1 with Israel was covered by double chance. With qualification secured, Portugal’s last group games can bring rotation, so we will wait for the confirmed lineups before pricing them again.
